Be a Hart 2 Heart Hero! -- Saturday February 14th, 2026 H2H has a proud tradition of rescuing and nurturing abused, abandoned, and unwanted animals in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties since 2017. During 2025 there were amazing rescue stories. There was Greta, found dying on a hot sidewalk. And Ophelia who was living in a car. But nothing was more astounding than a hoarding situation where H2H rescued 23 cats! In all, H2H successfully placed 380 animals in 2025!! This great success came with record medical bills which caused the organization to pause intakes late in the year. As we look ahead to 2026 and serving an even greater number of cats and dogs, we need to create a funding base to cover medical expenses and avoid pausing intakes in the future. If you have received this, we know you love our animals. Whether an Adopter, a Volunteer, a Colony feeder, or other Supporter, you’ve probably known one or more of our precious rescue cats or dogs. If you are very lucky, they allowed you to become their very own butler. There are many more animals that need a home. Will you help us help them in 2026? We are looking for 100 heroes – individuals or groups/companies – to sign up as a $500 donor!
