Winston

Winston is amazing. He is legitimately the most affectionate, sweet and talkative boy. He is getting along with our corso puppy and he is the best big brother to our new baby! We’re so thankful we stopped at petsplus and Winston caught our attention. He’s the cat we’ve been looking for!

Walker

Things are going great with Walker. I came to adopt Walker after seeing him over a few weeks when I first started volunteering with hart to heart. Walker was always ready for a belly rub in the store, but he was very inactive and not thrilled to leave the condo. Once we got him home, Walker has showed his amazing personality. He can play for hours and also is very smart! We have a cat door leading to the kitty litter, and he learned quickly how to use it. He is very active, getting the zoomies a few times a day even. He’s also very talkative, constantly making noise with a greeting at the door every time we come home.  We call him Walker the Talker.

Walker

Walker has been adopted by one of our volunteers and is settling right in.

Waffles

Good evening and happy holidays! I wanted to let you know how Waffles is doing. Since we got her in June 2023, we have been following her lead and working with her during this time. It has been a process.
As the year comes to a close, Waffles is now fully acclimated to the entire house and is still learning the “kitty politics” but nothing horrible - some growling, hissing and chasing - but that is subsiding as time passes.
Waffles decided in early December to come down to the main floor and stay down here with everyone. She moves between all the floors in the house now like she’s always been here.
Her fave spots are the cradle on the bay window and the top of the fridge. She loves pets and the dot and has bonded quickly to Zanzibar. Whenever she goes to the vet for a nail trim, Zanzibar comes along and even the techs noticed she’s not as stressed when he accompanies her.
She loves dry food, wet food, treats, cat nip, cookies, ham, chicken, cheese, pudding, rice, peas, chocolate milk (not reg milk), ribs, pork, bacon, pizza, toast, Chinese and Mexican food. Waffles is a true blue Tuxie with the food.
Waffles let’s me pick her up and hold her/carry her for 30-40 seconds, before her disdain begins, which is fine because that’s all I need to get her into a carrier to go to the vet.  She’s learning the schedule /routine of food, work and bath time - she’s loves water and loves to be in the bathroom when one of us showers.
She responds to her name and will follow me when I ask her - though not all the time as she is a cat .

Whitaker
Whitaker

We changed Hayden's name to Whittaker which means wheat field or white field :). He is an amazing cat, so playful and snuggly. We love him so much!
