Meet Josie – A Chatty Calico with a Heart Full of Hope

Josie never expected life to change so suddenly. Along with her feline companions, GrandPaw Billy and Sunshine, Josie came to Hart 2 Heart Animal Rescue after their beloved human entered hospice care, never to return home to her most adored cats again. Though her world was turned upside down, Josie has remained full of love, curiosity, and charm—and now she’s looking for someone special to share it all with.

Born in May 2020, Josie is a short-haired calico with a vibrant coat and an even brighter personality. She’s spayed and up to date on her vaccines, and in excellent health. Josie is both friendly and talkative, always ready to greet you with a cheerful chirp or an affectionate head bump. Whether you’re chatting over your morning coffee or relaxing on the couch, Josie loves to be involved.

She gets along well with other cats and is comfortable around people of all ages, including children. Her playful side shines through when toys are around—especially anything she can bat, chase, or pounce on. But when playtime’s over, she’s just as happy curling up near her humans, soaking in the love and companionship.

Josie is the perfect balance of sociable and sweet—a young cat with an old soul who’s ready to settle into a forever home that offers both fun and stability.
